4 Brunch Ideas to Savor This Weekend

 We all wait for the weekend to wake up late and have a palatable brunch. This is only the time when you can put bacon, eggs, and a burger on the plate. Whether you like Mexican-inspired breakfast or Southern comfort food, we have made a list of the sweet and savory brunch recipes to start your day. It has been made considering the menus of brunch restaurant hells kitchen, to keep you happy and relaxed in the weekend morning. 

Cucumber Sandwiches

What do you need?

½ peeled Cucumber

Salt

Slices of Bread ( as many as you want to eat)

Cheese Spread ( at room temperature)

White Pepper

Process

Cut the cucumber into thin slices and sprinkle them with a little salt; leave it for 20 minutes. Later, dry them with kitchen paper. Now, take one of the bread slices, and cover each with a cheese slice; add the cucumber slices,  sprinkle white pepper on it. You may cut them diagonally if you want!

French Toast

What do you need?

¼ cup of milk

1 egg

1 tsp Vanilla extract

½ tsp Cinnamon 

Process

Mix all the ingredients together in one bowl. Dip the bread into the mixture and brown them on a buttered skillet. You may serve them bananas or other toppings of your choice!

Mushrooms, Cheese, Potatoes with Baked Eggs

What do you need?

1 tbsp Sunflower Oil

3 peeled and cubed baking potatoes

2 chopped tomatoes

600g mushrooms

2 sliced garlic cloves

2 tbsp thyme leaves

140g grated cheddar cheese

4 eggs

Process

Put the potatoes in a pan with water inside the preheated oven; boil it for 5 minutes and then drain the water. Now, heat the oil in the pan and cook mushrooms, potatoes, and garlic cloves together (for 5-8 minutes). Cook until the mushrooms are soft and the potatoes’ sides are brown. Add in thyme and stir it. 


After this, spoon the potato mixture on a baking dish, add cheese and some thyme. Make holes in the mixture and break in the eggs. Bake for 15 minutes till the eggs and cheese melt.

Tomato Bruschetta

What do you need?

3 to 4 ripe tomatoes (at room temperatures)

2 tbsp Olive Oil

6 basil leaves (sliced thinly)

Six ½ inch thick slices of French or Italian Bread

Salt

Ground Pepper

Process

Halve tomatoes and remove the seeds. Chop them into ¼ inch chunks and add to a medium bowl. Sprinkle salt and black pepper, 1 tbsp olive oil, and basil. Stir and leave it for 10 minutes. Heat a pan over a medium flame. Drizzle the bread slices with the oil and grill them for 2- 3 minutes (each side). Warm them till the grill marks appear. Remove the bread and lightly rub one side with garlic- two strokes are enough. Stir tomatoes and spoon a good amount on each bread slice.
